A really big thank you to everyone who visited the February 2020 farmers market in West Malling.

With high wind speeds and very strong gusts predicted during the market opening hours we took the decision to set the stalls up later in the morning (gusts of 50mph at 6am). We moved the stallholders wishing to stay and trade from gazebos to the side of the High Street and slightly more sheltered from the wind. Extra weights were added to stalls if needed and vans placed to shelter the stalls from the wind too. Some stallholders set up the stalls near their vehicles in the middle of the High Street and traded from their tables. Apologies to customers for the slightly random placing of stalls and not as many stalls as normal, but the market was up and running between 9.30 and 1.30 with 26 amazing stallholders to welcome everyone who braved the weather to visit the market.

The farmers market is back next on Sunday 22nd March, with hopefully much better weather and a great selection of stalls. Some of the stalls attending will include:
