West Malling Farmers Market is this Sunday coming,
28th Feb 2010.
Octopussy and Arcade Fisheries will have Fresh Rye Bay Scallops, (see recipe), and there will be the normal supply of local fresh, and delicious foods.
Steve at Love Chillis will have is world famous Sweet Chilli and garlic dipping sauce to go with the Scallops, and has assured us he will sell to people wearing pajamas.

Farmer Joe sez ” ……er”
By which he means he hopes to see you at the Farmers Market at West Malling this Sunday, 27th September 2009. The last one of summer, kids are back at school, and although this weekend looks like it’s going to be sunny and warm, the nights are drawing in, the leaves are falling…
Time to start thinking of getting in those Kentish apples, maybe even try some of the very young root crops, definitely time to try some English Wine Nouveaux, ahh…all the delights that an English and Kentish early autumn bring!

Farm made cheese to go with hand baked bread. Marmalade because it is British, and loads of other wonderful things.

As we said in the last post this months West Malling Farmers Market, Sunday July 26th, will have the last of this season’s cherries.

They have been really good this year, but the other fruits are coming through, the cheeses and the meats are all locally sourced, all reflect what is grown near you, by people you can by directly from. Quality, fresh, local and a human face: great way to shop.
