West Malling Farmers Market is this Sunday 22 April between 9.30 and 1.30 in the High Street.

With over 30 stalls selling local produce which they have been involved in making, growing, rearing or even catching (as is the case with the fish). …The criteria for attending the farmers market allows producers to attend from a 30 mile radius of West Malling (or further afield if the product can’t be sourced locally). Items available this Sunday include local cheeses, beer and wine, bread and cakes, pies, fish, chocolates and fudge, preserves, cider, soap, gluten free items, dog treats, seasonal fruit and vegetables and much more.

The farmers market this month also has a 60′s theme due to a planned visit of The Beatles Magical Mystery Tour Bus. Why not pop along and see if the producers have dressed 60′s style too

The Farmers Market in West Malling will take place this Sunday 25th March.

REMINDER: The clocks will go forward by one hour on Sunday 25 March as British Summer Time begins for another year.

Crunchy vegetables such as Cauliflower, Purple Sprouting Broccoli, Carrots and Leeks are still at their best, as is an abundance of seafood. Alternatively pop along and take a look at the sparkling wine available from Meopham Valley Vineyard labelled to commemorate the Queens Diamond Jubilee Celebrations.

In addition there will be a wide variety of local produce available including chocolates, beer, cheese, pork, gluten free cakes and cider.

Future dates of the farmers market are 22nd April and 27th May

The next West Malling Farmers Market will take place on Sunday 26 February 2012. The last couple of weeks for producers has been a bit of struggle with the snow and cold. Let’s hope for a dry and sunny day on the 26th!

The Chocolate Hut and local beers should be attending the Farmers Market this month along with producers selling seasonal vegetables, award winning wines, bread, fresh fish and many more local products.

Happy New Year to all our Customers and we look forward to seeing you in 2012 .

22nd January is the first West Malling Farmers Market of the year and we are back with all our usual stalls.

We’re pleased to announce that Pine Tree Farm has reached the top 3 in the Taste of Kent Award – Best Kent Cider or Perry category with their product Duddas Tun. Pine Tree Farm will be at the Farmers Market this Sunday so please pay them a visit.

The Farmers Market in West Malling reaches its 11th birthday this month.

There will be some additional stalls attending the Farmers Market this month with a variety of locally produced goodies. Pop along to the Farmers Market, have a chat with the producers about what they have on offer or order items for Christmas.

The Christmas Lights will be Switched on in West Malling High Street following the Farmers Market. Between 3pm and 5pm there will be:

Brass Band

Childrens Fairground rides

Carol Singing

Charity stalls

Meet the cast from the local pantomime

Hot food and drink

Santa arrives around 4.30 to switch on the Christmas Lights

The Farmers Market in December moves forward to the 3rd Sunday of the month – 18th December.

A quick reminder that West Malling Farmers Market takes place on the 4th Sunday of the month not the last Sunday of the month so the next date is Sunday 23rd October.

A very early reminder that the Christmas Light Switch On in West Malling will take place on Sunday 27 November, the same day as the Farmers Market. The December Farmers Market will be taking place on Sunday 18th December.

The beauty of farmers’ markets are the wonderful selection of really fresh vegetables, fruits and meats. Not everything is available throughout the year, as one crop finishes another one starts adding excitement to shopping at the farmers market. This means you get to cook with produce when it tastes the best.

This seasons cobnuts are now available – if you’ve never cooked them pop along and have a chat with the gentleman selling cobnuts this Sunday. He’ll tell you some amazing facts about the Kentish cobnut

Also the new season quinces are now available and the first batch of quince jelly will be on show

Farmers Market and Classic Car Show September 2011

Classic Motor Show & Farmers’ Market – Sunday 11th September The finale to the event will be a classic motor show (from 10am to 4pm) on the Sunday. Up to 120 classic, vintage and custom cars will be on display outside in Green car park, alongside the monthly Farmers’ market (open from 10am to 2pm).

Vehicles booked in the Classic Motor Show include: Armstrong Sidley, Ford Thunderbird, Rolls Royce 1968, Daimler 2.5, Honda Tricycle, Cadillacs, 1928 Austin Heavy and a Porsche Carrera.
