Happy New Year to all our Customers and we look forward to seeing you in 2012 .

22nd January is the first West Malling Farmers Market of the year and we are back with all our usual stalls. 

We’re pleased to announce that Pine Tree Farm has reached the top 3 in the Taste of Kent Award – Best Kent Cider or Perry category with their product Duddas Tun.  Pine Tree Farm will be at the Farmers Market this Sunday so please pay them a visit.

A quick reminder that the future dates for the Farmers Market are Sunday 26 February and Sunday 25 March

 

West Malling Farmers Market takes place this Sunday 18 December between 9.30 and 1.30.  There will be a wide variety of local produce to choose from including seasonal vegetables, cider , wines, beer and apple juice, cheeses, fish, bread and cakes and much more.

As a reminder the first West Malling Farmers Market in the New Year will take place on 22 January followed by 26 February

 

 

The Farmers Market in West Malling reaches its 11th birthday this month. 

There will be some additional stalls attending the Farmers Market this month with a variety of locally produced goodies.  Pop along to the Farmers Market, have a chat with the producers about what they have on offer or order items for Christmas.

The Christmas Lights will be Switched on in West Malling  High Street following the Farmers Market.  Between 3pm and 5pm there will be:

Brass Band                      

Childrens Fairground rides                                                                           

Carol Singing                               

Charity stalls                                      

Meet the cast  from the local pantomime                                                

Hot food and drink

Santa arrives around 4.30 to switch on the Christmas Lights

The Farmers Market in December moves forward to the 3rd Sunday of the month – 18th December.

A quick reminder that West Malling Farmers Market takes place on the 4th Sunday of the month not the last Sunday of the month so the next date is Sunday 23rd October. 

A very early reminder that the Christmas Light Switch On in West Malling will take place on Sunday 27 November, the same day as the Farmers Market.  The December Farmers Market will be taking place on Sunday 18th December.

The beauty of farmers’ markets are the wonderful selection of really fresh vegetables, fruits and meats. Not everything is available throughout the year, as one crop finishes another one starts adding excitement to shopping at the farmers market. This means you get to cook with produce when it tastes the best.
 
This seasons cobnuts are now available – if you’ve never cooked them pop along and have a chat with the gentleman selling cobnuts this Sunday. He’ll tell you some amazing facts about the Kentish cobnut
 
Also the new season quinces are now available and the first batch of quince jelly will be on show
