Thank you to everyone who came along to the October Farmers Market. It was a slightly breezy day, but what a great selection of produce could be found from over 40 different local producers. Anyone else spy the size of the Chelsea Buns of Garys Artisan Bread stall or the new gift packs available from Wild Spirits of Kent?
Voting for this year Farm Shop and Deli Awards clses on 31 October so there are still a couple of days to vote for West Malling Farmers Market in the Market category. The producers at the farmers market would love your support with a vote on the link here http://bit.ly/2x9YGUw on in the side bar on this page of the website/
The farmers market will be back in West Malling next on Sunday 26 November with lots of Christmas gift ideas and a chance to order items for the Christmas period too. Kent Turkey will be back with the Kelly Bronze Turkeys and Boughton Alpaca will have warm hand knitted items ready for the cold period too.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Thank you to everyone who came along to the September Farmers Market – what a great day with a wonderful selection of local food, drinks and crafts.
The Farmers Market returns again on Sunday 22 October, with the Winter selection of cards from Wealden Art, Christmas jewellery designs from Simply True and lots more.
Just a quick reminder that the farmers market has it’s own facebook page too, so if you would like more details about some of the producers attending and their products take a look there.
We look forward to seeing you on Sunday 22 October
The farmers market is back in West Malling this Sunday 24 September between 9.30 and 1.30
We’re pleased to confirm that Wild Spirits of Kent are back this month with their flavoured drinks. It’s been a busy couple of weeks for them collecting all the seasonal fruits to make their drinks. Also back will be Dulce Pattisserie with their cakes, tartlets and other treats
Dine Thyme are back from their holiday to Canada, so it’s a chance to catch up on their news and admire their sausage rolls and quiches whilst having a chat.
Make sure you look round the stalls this month as we have a guest appearance from Biskilicious who hand decorates biscuits with seasonal designs – we suspect the theme of the biscuits could well have a harvest theme.
Some of the stalls are starting to display items for … dare we say it …. Christmas. Wealden Art will be starting to display their Winter collection of cards. We’ve seen a few and they look lovely.
Some of the other stalls attending will be:
Sweet Nostalgia (fudge)
V J Game
Lou Lou Bella
and many more
We look forward to seeing you this Sunday
Thank you to everyone who came along to the August Bank Holiday Sunday farmers market. Such a lovely sunny day and a great selection of local produce available too. Did anyone else try the blackcurrant cider from Pine Tree Farm stall or the butter from Bookhams Cheese?
The farmers market will next be back in West Malling on Sunday 24 September with the return of some of the producers who had been on their holidays during August.
We look forward to seeing you
